Today on Episode 22 we talked more about Valentines Day
On our last show:
• Rae joined us from Washington State & asked about Heart patterns to Knit. Since I’m not a very good knitter I went searching on the internet. The Links I found were:
All the above links are free for personal use. I hope this helps.
Wire Jewelry...
• 20 gage permanently colored wire wrapped into a heart on a wire jig. (picture will be here soon)
• if you’ve never tried wire work you can get a the Wild Wire kit that has wire, round nose pliers & a Jig with mixed pegs
• Wire Jewelry is great if you have just a few beads lift over from past projects.
Craft Idea Help...
Do you have supplies left over from other projects and don’t know what to do with them. email me and I probably will be able to find a project you can do with it.
New Yarns:
• Got a new yarn in the Shoppe this week. Red Heart Grande. Its like red heart supersaver doubled.
• Universal Yarns - 3 big books of samples are now in the shoppe. Huge variety of high quality yarns.
Weekly Poll:
• From now on I will have a Weekly Poll question related to crafts and on each podcast I will talk about the results. I want to do this to get to know my listeners better. You can find the Poll on our home page.
Interviewees wanted:
• Do you have a great craft story? How did you get into crafts?? Did your Great Grandma do something cool crafting??? Share your story. Contact me I would love to interview you to include in a future show.
New Favorite Magazines:
• Crafts ‘n Things - Great magazine that has a little of everything in Crafting. Quilting to Rubber Stamping, Jewelry to Crochet
• Then they have a sister magazine called Pack-O-Fun which has great patterns and ideas for crafting with kids.
What I’ve been addicted to:
• My Grandmother has some old costume that “as is” I wouldn’t wear but re-strung are really beautiful. One of the newest things I’m playing with right now are bead frames. They are very light weight frames that get strung into your project with one of the beads your working with in the center.
